Season Heroes: the winner becomes a card
Until now the ladder rewarded you quietly: tier packs and a title only the cat's owner ever saw. From this season on, a win leaves a mark everyone can see.
A card with your name on it
The cat that takes first place on the season ladder becomes a card. It carries their name, their coat and the season number. The card is neutral: five purrs, 4/5, with Nine Lives — it fits a deck of any class.
It never drops from packs and cannot be bought. While it is in the game, it is simply there for everyone: open the deck builder and it waits, with someone else's name on it.
Two seasons in play, the board forever
A hero card stays in the game for the next two seasons, then leaves the shelf. So no more than two heroes are ever in decks at once, and the collection is not overgrown with other people's names.
A retired card stays on the hall of fame — keriteri.ru/en/cards/heroes — with that season's numbers: rating, games, wins.
The champion also gets a poster of their own card delivered to their house: a wall item that stays long after the card stops being played.
The bar
First place alone is not enough. A hero is a cat that, during the season:
- played at least 12 live duels;
- faced at least 4 different cats;
- holds a rating of 1150 or higher (Roof tier).
The bar exists so the crown is not won in two games against a friend: only live duels with people move the rating, and the fifth game against the same cat in a day does not move it at all. If nobody clears the bar, the season stays without a hero — the crown does not pass to second place.
Season one, "First Moon", runs until the end of October. The first hero arrives on November 1.
