The Season Trail opens: “First Moon”

The cat walked along the fence — and left a trail on the asphalt. From this update Nine Lives has seasons: each with its own name, its own reward trail and its own rating ladder. The first season is called “First Moon” and runs until the end of October.

The Trail

Every game gives steps: a win against a bot is 30, a loss 15, a live duel 60 and 30, a Chronicles node 60. Three daily quests pay 80 steps each (and another 60 for closing all three), three weekly quests pay 250. There are thirty marks; after the thirtieth every 500 steps pay fish.

Rewards sit on two lanes. On the ground — free for everyone: packs, fish, the “Walker” title, the “Terracotta” chalk. Along the fence — the Moon Trail: a reward at every mark, the “Moon Trail” card back right away, moon and gold chalk, the “Crescent” and “Full Moon” frames, the “Moon Cat” title, a legendary at the twentieth and the animated “Full Moon” card back at the thirtieth.

The Moon Pass

Unlocks the Moon Trail for the whole season and adds 20% to the steps from games. It costs 299 ₽; the “+10 marks” variant is 499 ₽. It can be bought at any moment of the season on the Trail screen: everything already passed unlocks at once. Season items are never given out again — that is a promise.

The Ladder

Live duels now move your rating. Start is 1000, tiers: Cellar, Yard, Roof, Moon; the ten best on the Moon are the “Ninth Life”. The Duels screen got a “Find an opponent” button: the Yard picks a pair by rating. A fifth game against the same cat in one day doesn’t move the rating — friends are welcome, farming is not.

At the end of the season the tier pays packs, and the top three of the Ninth Life get silver chalk and a title.

The update arrives by itself. The game site is right here: rules, every card, the ladder, the Trail.
